The legend of four thieves was cited in a number of aromatherapy books. The basic premise of the story is that for centuries, the bubonic plague outbreaks decimated Asian and European cultures. From this period came popular legends of thieves who were captured and charged with stealing from the dead. When the thieves were finally tried, they were offered leniency if they would reveal how they avoided contracting the infection as they performed these horrible acts. They revealed a concoction of herbs and vinegar that they rubbed on themselves before committing their crimes. As time went on, researchers have taken the essential oils from some of these herbs sited in the legend and applied them to popular essential oil blends. It is important to note this is a legend and should not be used to support theories that this product can prevent the bubonic plague or any other disease or infection.

Great product 3rd time I have ordered.
Not too happy with company. Tried ordering one pound container from Bulk Apothecary and it has been "out of stock" for many months so I went to "Natures Oil" website and ordered one pound container at a cost of around $40.00 MORE! And when I receive product it's in Bulk Apothecary shipping box shipped by Bulk Apothecary! W T F !!

Blend 0008 (like thieves)
I have been using thieves to stay healthy for years. All of a sudden, most of the sellers disappeared. It appeared that someone patented the formula and now charges a fortune for a mix of basic oils. I am grateful to Nature oil for figuring out how to continue to offer this. I have purchased the product under different names from other sellers and they just weren’t right. Nature Oil is absolutely the right formula. I use it in a I infuser to fight off virus and bacteria. Love it.

Thieves Oil Blend is Great
I use this every winter when the house is closed up or in the summer when air is running. It really opens up my sinus passages. Whenever I'm a little stuffed I turn my diffuser on.
